The Super Falcons of Nigeria will play Australia, Ireland and Canada in Group B of the FIFA Women World Cup to be hosted by New Zealand and Australia in 2023.
The Falcons will engage Canada in their opening match while co-host, Australia will play Ireland in their opening match.
In a draw conducted Saturday morning, South African neighbor, Zambia will play in Group C with Spain, Costa Rica and Japan.
African reigning champions, South Africa will play Sweden in the opening game with Italy and Argentina as other opponents in Group G.
Another African representative, Morócco will struggle with Germany, colombia and Korean Republic in Group H to grab one of the tickets for the round of 16.
The next FIFA World Cup will take place in New Zealand and Australia. New Zealand will be playing their opening match with Norway.
They also have Philippines and Switzerland in Group A while the co-host, Australia will play Ireland, Canada and Nigeria in Group B.
