Coach of EFCC Football Club, Abuja, Kabiru Sani said his team is good enough to start the league and do great job if the last friendly match played an Abuja Selected side is anything to go by.

The match which was played on Thursday at the Area Football Pitch, saw goals being scored by Moshood Danjuma in the first half while Joshua Egaji added the second in the second half of the game to draw level with the visiting team. The team captain, Icha Emmanuel gave the two assists.

Coach Kabiru who expressed satisfaction with the performance of his boys said the first team did well but decided to substitute them with another 11 players and goalkeeper but was actually not too pleased with their performance.

He however said, it is mere friendly match to serve as a build up to the the league. He further said they chose Abuja Selected Side because they are likely the kind of team they will face in the NNL league.

Meanwhile, the Abuja Selected Side is being handled by Baba 11 and Freke.

The EFCC will be facing the National U20 team, otherwise known as the Flying Eagles in another friendly match on Saturday at the FIFA Goal Project Pitch, Abuja by 7am.
