PFAN congratulates Senator Enoh as sports minister, assures him of their support

On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed the Cross River State-born politician, Senator John Enoh, as the Minister of Sports Development.

Tijani Babangida said, “It is a thing of joy that the Federal Government in their ingenuity, separated the Ministry of Sports Development from Youth, unlike what was obtained under previous administrations.”

While others see this appointment as a shocker, we at PFAN believe it is a step in the right direction and a call to deliver on a national assignment.

However, while congratulating the new Sports Minister, PFAN’s President, Tijani Babangida also put Senator Enoh to task.

“We as a Union would like to congratulate the newly appointed Sports Minister, Senator John Enoh whom we believe will deliver on the job. We however advise he gets to work and ensure he puts the right people to assist him deliver credibly on the job,” he enthused.

Babangida continued, “His excellent performance in the Agricultural sector is a pointer to his ability to deliver on any given task, and as a Union, we stand solidly behind him on this national assignment.”

While calling on the sporting fraternity to rally support behind him, President Babangida assured that with the right environment, the minister will not let the sports family down.
