Super Eagles winger, Simon Moses said whenever the team does well, the glory goes to everyone of them and vice versa hence blames should not be put on individuals because they are a team.

He made this clarification during a press conference for the match between Nigeria and Cameroon slated for the Felix Boigny Stadium, Abidjan Cote D’Ivoire.

Moses said, “The first game, we played well, it is just that we were not lucky to score more goals. The second one, we also played well and won but the third is that, we missed so many scoring chances, even me, I missed goals but we have learnt our lesson. We have the best striker in the tournament in Victor Osimhen. I don’t want anybody to accuse any player that we are not scoring, the blame should go to everyone of us. If we win, we win together, if we lose, we lose together. Against Cameroon, we just want to win even if it is one goal.

The player assured that they are not under any pressure with what they heard about history or on social media. “We don’t have any pressure from any quarters.”

On what should be expected from the match , he said, “We are good, we have been taking the games step by step and that is the same way we will take the Cameroonian game.

“They are a good team and I believe they are better than 2010 and we are also better than the 2010 team. Most of us don’t read history, we just want to play and win. We will approach the game the way we have always done, Cameroon are a strong team and we are also good as well. We know they are physical also. Cote d’ivoire were physical also but that does not mean you will win.

On the exit of Black Stars of Ghana, Moses said he would have loved to see the Black Stars in the tournament and probably play them but unfortunately they have crashed out. “I wanted Ghana to stay but that is football, you win, you lose or draw but I wish them the best in future.”
