Two members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) that did their mandatory service year with the management of Rangers International F.C, Enugu, were Friday, October 7, 2022, given a well-deserved send-forth bash to mark the end of their service year.

Oghenebrume Precious Onoriode and Julie Okiemute David were filled with emotions as various speakers spoke at the short but colorful ceremony at the club’s administrative office.

The club’s administrative secretary, Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua, in his speech, advised both ex-corps members to maintain their excellent work ethics displayed during the service year, stressing, “Let me start by congratulating both of you for a successful service year with us – Rangers International F.C. No doubt, it has been a good time we had while you were here and I urge you to keep it up as you go into the labor market where I believe you will make it even in the face of the difficult moments.”

Oghenebrume Precious Onoriode, in a response to the encouraging words from top officials of the club present at the occasion, said, “It has been a wonderful one year of working with Rangers and we greatly appreciate this opportunity extended to us and pray that the show of love we got while working here would be re-payed by the almighty God. We would not forget all the experiences gathered while here as it will be the launch-pad for us in the larger society.”

A day earlier, both corps members performed the mandatory passing out parade organized by the NYSC in Enugu state.
