The General Manager of Rivers Angels Football Club, RAFC, Matilda Otuene-Onyiloha on behalf of the management team, technical crew and players congratulate the Rivers State Commissioner for Sports, Barrister Christopher Green on his re-election as the Chairman, Rivers State Football Association.

RAFC also felicitates Mr Benjamin Akubo on his emergence as Vice Chairman of the Association.

Barrister Green was on Thursday, June 22, 2023 re-elected unopposed as Chairman while Mr Akubo was elected Vice in the election held at the Ernest Ikoli Press Center in Port Harcourt.

In a press statement signed by Media Officer of Rivers Angels FC, Jessica Amadi and made available to our correspondent, the General Manager described both feats as well-deserved and believe that Barr, Green will see to the development of football at the state level and with Mr Akubo by his side as his Vice, football in the state is about to be on a different level. 

The Rivers Angels General Manager wishes the Chairman and his Vice a successful and smooth run for a better and greater future for football in Rivers State.
