Former German International, Lothar Herbert Matthaus said Sadio Mane’s stay in Bayern Munich is over.
He stated this during an interview on a cable network on Friday during his visit to Accra, Ghana recently.
The former Bayern Munich player said they are not happy with Mane’s performance and not because he had issue with Leroy Sane.
He claimed that ever since he had injury before the world cup, he has not been playing well like he did in Liverpool.
His words, “The relationship between Mane and Bayern is over. Maybe it was a mistake, the injury he had before the world cup may have contributed to his performance. He never perform like Mane we knew and saw in Liverpool. I think It might be over.”
Matheus further revealed that there was no need to change former coach, Julian Nagelsmann, because he was doing well. He was on top of the league, he was in the German Cup, he was doing well in the UEFA champions league but he was removed it unjustly.
He concluded by saying that “Thomas Tuchel should know that this is Bayern Munich, we have to win everything. We have to get better results.”
