The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN FCT Chapter congratulates the coaches, players and management staff of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Football Club for their outstanding performance this season.

The EFCC came top in their group to qualify for the Nigeria National League, NNL Super 8 to be played in Asaba, Delta State.

In a press release by the Secretary of the Association, Mr. Chris Onokpegu, who incidentally is a member of the coaching crew, the FCT SWAN said it is proud of their performance and urge them to go all out to pick the Premier League ticket for Abuja, a feat that has eluded the Federal Capital Territory, FCT since 2008 till date.

The chairman of FCT SWAN, Mr. Bunmi Haruna also congratulates the chairman of EFCC, Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa for his support thus far. “We appreciate you for your support and also use this opportunity to plead with you to give the team more support to enable them pick the Premier League ticket.

Mr. Haruna also congratulates the President of Nigeria, Senator Bola Tinubu and Nigerians on the celebration of Democracy Day, which is widely known as June 12.
