The EFCC Football Club of Abuja on Saturday began the defence of the Pre-Season cup with a resounding victory though shaking over De-Royal Stars Football, another Abuja-based team.
EFCC FC which is the defending champions of the tournament showed the class it is made of by winning the match by 2-0 courtesy of Isaiah Monday Solomon and Masoud Danjuma goals in the first and second halves.
The Coach Kabiru Sani-tutored side though did not live to its billings, but the boys were able to use their experience to win the match which was very tough.
Coach Kabiru who was not too impress with the performance of his boys however promised to beef up the team in subsequent matches.
The Anti-Graft boys’ next match is against Derby Football Academy on Monday at the Area 3 Football Pitch by 1pm Nigerian time.
