De Friends Spikers on Monday defeated the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Spikers, an academy side in the ongoing Abuja Invitational volleyball challenge 2023.
The championship which is being sponsored by the Major Gen. Yusuf is taking place at the Volleyball Pitches at the Package B of the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
In one of the matches played in the afternoon, De Friends Spikers defeated COAS Spikers by 25-19 and 25-22 in two sets to win the game.
The championship comprises of both academy and professional premier league sides. The games continue tomorrow.
